OwnTheGlobe is a unique site that allows you make real money by selling virtual real estate. Here's how it works: 

1. You buy a virtual region on OwnTheGlobe with real cash.
2. You set its new selling price higher than what you paid for it.
3. When someone buys that region, you get all the profits.
4. The cash profits are funded to your account.

Why should you buy virtual real estate on OwnTheGlobe? When you buy virtual real estate, you own it. You can then sell it later for a profit; you can own something unique that no one else can have (there are a limited number of regions on OwnTheGlobe, and they will never be duplicated); if you're the first to buy that region you get a percentage of all sales of that region forever (as long as you're a registered member). And there's more to come: as OwnTheGlobe grows, it will expand offerings to members include additional ways to make money.

Once you own a region it's yours until you sell it for more than you paid for it, at a price that you set. And once 100% of the regions are bought, you can earn even more money by selling off smaller pieces of your land (farmland and coastal parcels), upon which members can place Storefronts selling real or virtual goods for real money -- and region owners get a piece of all the profits!

Let's make one thing very clear: OwnTheGlobe is a for-profit company; but we offer profit-sharing benefits by giving a portion back to the best players, the Top 100. That's right: 10% of all gross revenues BEFORE expenses is paid back to the top 100 players, each month. This means it's possible to earn much more in earnings than what you paid for your region(s). In addition, OwnTheGlobe donates 25% of all net income to non-profit charities.
